FROM HOUSE TO A HOME: Modern Chic Contemporary: Master bedroom (THE PRESENTATION)

We’d like to give a hotelish feel for the master bedroom.
(see the first part of the story here)

The color scheme will be in taupe with touches of black and chrome furniture and accessories.

We’ll add interest by adding texture using wall paper and layering of beddings and fabrics.

FROM HOUSE TO A HOME: Modern Chic Contemporary: Living dining (THE PRESENTATION)

Here’s the juices.
The residential area that we are doing, needs to have this warm contemporary feel and still have this modern touch here and there. See the story here.
The plan is to add warmth by using wood and taupe colored fabrics.

To give the modern touch we’ll make use of chrome accessories, glass and mirrors around.

or bronze accessories would be nice too

we'll placing a Noguchi table in the living to add interest

and how about this kind of sofa?

and to add more interest and drama, a mercury drop light

add it all up and we'll end up with this!

Can’t wait! Yay!

For the other areas see the story for the master, kid’s room1, 2 and teen’s room.

FROM HOUSE TO A HOME: Modern Chic Contemporary

We got another call!!! Yay!! And this time will do almost the whole house.
The client wants to have a modern look for the home; they were scared that if they do it alone it may end up looking traditional given the elements of the stones and the wood. And they knew they needed help.
Design street to the rescue!!
Again when we got there it’s in its finishing stage. But luckily the areas were well planned and the elements were well placed. Kudos to the architect!
Here’s what we got.

It’s kind of scary to have an elevated area. It restricts a space and may not give you enough allowance to move or reshuffle your furniture. But good thing the space was large enough to house the furniture we have in mind.
Master bedroom

Kid’s room 1 I can imagine pooh bear.. I don’t know why..

Kid’s room 2 future lassalle-ista?

Teen’s room

Giddy much! Stay tuned!
(Since it has many areas including kid’s rooms, we’ll be posting the areas separately. >_^)

STYLING: A mature approach for a very pink room THE REVEAL!

We can’t repaint the walls; there is just a little room to change the look of the room. But that won’t stop us. Finally here it is!

Before

After

Sorry for the improvise table, the side table haven’t arrived yet and the bedding aren't complete.

We tried to take a picture of it during the party but since the daughter just arrived all her stuff were inside her new room so we didn’t bother her.

What made our day was when she told us “Thank you for rescuing my room. It’s so chic.” (yay! ^_^)

Till next time!
