CHRISTMAS WRAPPING IDEAS

Its just 6 days to go before Christmas!
All the Christmas tree and decorations are up and each one of us are rushing for that last minute shopping,
but let’s not forget the second most exciting part of the holiday,
next to receiving gifts and pigging out on the sumptuous holiday meals,
GIFT WRAPPING!!1
Not all of us can afford to buy those fancy papers and ribbons,
and with everyone’s busy schedule, its hard to make fancy DIY’s too.
But let me share some ideas on how to make your gifts look fancy,
won’t cost a lot and best of all fast and easy.

Go green
Today, we are begining to be conscious with our environment and a lot us are now practicing with the green movement.

Making use of old magazine, burlap and brown paper will not just make your gifts look fancy but you can also help the environment.
       Button it up
Search your sewing kit and look for those loose buttons, decorate them on your gift boxes to give it some flair.

          Pack gifts

Another eco friendly idea is using those brown bags that we usually pack our sandwiches with and add some bling and ribbons and you got a beautiful gift wrap.
      Man it up!
Perfect way to dress your gifts a little less fancy and a little less girly.
These are also great for father's day gift wrapping

         Lace it up

Those beautiful laces that usually go with beautiful dresses can now be added to your simple gift wrapping paper to give it an elegant touch.

         Baking beauties
Who ever thought cupcake liners would make a beautiful bow.

6.       Pretty doilies
Simple paper, wrap some doilies and ribbon.. viola!

7.       Stamp it!
Simple paper, lots of stamp and some ink. BRILLIANT!
Crafty-ness
If you still have time why not add a little effort and make this DIY paper snowflakes. I'll show you how soon.

There you have it! Nice and simple ways to wrap those gifts this holiday season!
ENJOY! ^__^

A TOUCH OF DRAMA: Living and dining + 3 bedrooms(THE BIG REVEAL)

FINALLY!!!
After the long wait, (well most of it our fault, because we weren’t able to update you guys immediately.. sooorry... ), here it is! The big reveal..

The project when we got there was like an abandoned house. Out-dated and sad.

Then we came along and made this

A sad looking out-dated house

And give it a TOUCH OF DRAMA

The master bedroom,  from stressful looking peeling paints

To a relaxing retreat

I know we promised you guys a room with white furniture, but we can only find dark colored wood beds and this is the closest tufted designed headboard we can come up with. But hey, it worked well didn't it? =) hooray!

The customized wardrobe.

Adding little details makes a lot of impact.

The icky toilet and bathroom

To a sophisticated bath retreat.

a gloomy hallway

to a sophisticated hall to bedrooms

the outdated kitchen

to a more modern one

(whoops sorry for the mess, the ref and the stove haven't been installed yet and our bags were all slumped there.. whoopsie)

The scary door,

Turned to a welcoming entrance.

As we mentioned on the earlier post we were also asked to suggest on the exterior of the house so a gray walls for the exterior and a lighter shade of gray for the bands and mouldings. Continuing the slate stone accent of the front door columns and adding modern looking light fixtures.

here we are putting the finishing touches..

For the minor bedrooms, since the client were on a budget, they decided to postponed the styling first,
But all in all they were quite satisfied with the result.
The cherry on top that night was when our client told us “I could have never thought of doing this, Thank you very much”
And thank YOU very much for trusting us!
